Mangaung Venue Bookings

The Conference Facilities Division is responsible for the venue bookings of the conference facilities of the MANGAUNG Local Municipality.

There are several venues in the MANGAUNG municipal area that can be hired by the public for functions, seminars, conferences, etc. Most of these venues are situated in Bloemfonten, specifically in and around the Bram Fischer Building:

    Floreat Hall
    
    The Floreat Hall has a capacity for 150 people (dinner and dance), 230 people for dinner only and 250 people for a finger lunch. It has a kitchen with ovens, bar facilities, a cooling room, food preparation tables and is the ideal venue for banquets.
    
    The Rose Hall
    
    The Floreat Hall has a capacity for 150 people (dinner and dance), 200 people for dinner only and 150 people for a finger lunch. It has a kitchen with ovens, bar facilities, a cooling room an ice machine and it can be partitioned into 2 separate rooms for smaller functions.
    
    Indaba Auditorium
    
    The Indaba Auditorium is the biggest conference hall of the MANGAUNG Local Municipality. It has a capacity for 298 people and is furnished with modern equipment such as a radio microphone, recording facilities, an electronic overhead projector, colour video facilities including decoder systems, computer links for computerised presentations, large screens for projection, a remote control slide projector, a television and video cassette recorder and fixed swivel seats.
    
    Bunga Auditorium
    
    The Bunga Auditorium has a capacity for 120 people. It can also be partitioned into 2 separate rooms, with a capacity of 60 people each. It comprises of an overhead projector, white board with pens, flip charts, fixed swivel chairs, a television and video cassette recorder.

    City Hall
    
    The City Hall has a capacity for 400 people (dinner and dance), 640 people for dinner only, 800 people for a finger lunch, 990 for a concert and 1 216 if the balcony is included.
    
    The City Hall is an old and historical building with a large kitchen facility, it has a bar facility and a stage that can be used for theatre performances.
    
    Clarendon Hall
    
    Clarendon Hall has a capacity for 140 people (dinner and dance), 168 people for dinner only, 150 people for a finger lunch and 324 people for a concert. Its facilities include a kitchen and ovens.

  Norman Doubell Hall
  
  The Norman Doubell Hall has a capacity for 330 people (dinner and dance), 420 people for dinner only and 600 people for a concert. It has a kitchen with no ovens.
  
  Henry Brookes Hall
  
  The Henry Brookes Hall has a capacity for 168 people for dinner only and 300 people for a concert. It has no extra features and / or facilities.

  Kagisanong Hall
  
  The Kagisanong Hall has a capacity for 400 people for dinner only and 620 people for a concert. This venue has a big stage.
  
  Paradise Hall
  
  The Paradise Hall has a capacity for 350 people for dinner only and 510 people for a concert. It has no extra features and / or facilities.
  
  Batho Community Hall
  
  The Batho Community Hall has a capacity for 370 people for dinner only and 520 people for a concert.
