Information Management and Technology

The Sub-Directorate Information Management and Technology aims to achieve efficiencies through the integrations of systems, data and processes.

The Sub-Directorate has a number of projects in place for the digitalization of MANGAUNG.

The following projects are at various stages of development, with some already completed:

• The deployment of e-Venus, which entail the local government Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution. This project assists in financials, document management, imaging, routing and workflow.



• Business-driven corporate Geographical Information Systems (GIS) applications. This includes the Arclms Viewer, which provides spatial information online. Citizens can access electronic maps through the internet. It also includes a property management application and a tourism application.
