Mangaung Metro Municipality will be intensifying the disconnection of services to residential properties, business and government that are in arrears or that are not serving their debt.
The City is offering ratepayers credit control assistance with conditions that includes a 100% waiver of interest previously charged should the account holder choose to settle in full.
Residents are encouraged to take pre-termination notices issued seriously and make use of the credit control assistance as offered by the Municipality to avoid [services] cut offs.
Municipal account holders who need to enter into a payment arrangement with the City or sign an acknowledgement of debt agreement may:
- send their requests to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com;
- by phoning 051 405 8145 or 051 405 8527;
- or visit their nearest Customer Service Centre across the City’s regions.
All Municipal Account holders are encouraged to make use of the ONLINE Account Balance Check APP on our website at www.mangaung.co.za or click the below link that takes you to the APP. Account holders are also able to settle and pay their account Online, instructions are provided on this website on the APP page.
Please make sure to have YOUR 10-digit Municipal Account Number ready and available to enter into the APP when asked.
