Notice is hereby given in accordance with the provisions of section 12(3) of the local government: Municipal Systems Act 2000 (Act No 32 0f 2000) that the Council of Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality intends to review a policy regarding
Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP)
1. The proposed EPWP Policy review are published for comments and copies thereof may be scrutinised at the following places:
a) Municipality’s website
b) Room 701 Bram fisher Buidling, Cnr Nelson Mandela Drive & Markgraff street
c) Library/Offices:
- BP Leinaeng Library
- Mangaung Library
- Botshabelo Library
- Thaba Nchu Library
- Trevor Barlow Library
- Fichardpark Library
- Bainsvlei Library
Public Hearing for members of the community will be held as follows:
a) 10 May 2016 in Bloemfontein
- Lesley Monnanyane at 9:00
- Norman Doubell at 12:00
- City Hall at 17H:00
b) 11 May 2016 in Botshabelo
- H Hall at 9:00
c) 11 May 2016 in Thaba Nchu
- Civic Centre at 12:00
2. Members of the community are invited to address their comments or representations to the office of the speaker in writing at room 701, Bram fisher building, Cnr Nelson Mandela & Markgraff, Bloemfontein or send by post to PO Box 3704, Bloemfontein, 9300 or send by email to Nontsizi.Dial@mangaung.co.za or Khauhelo.Tsenoli@mangaung.co.za to reach them on or before 24 May 2016. Any person who cannot write, may come during office hours on or before 24 May 2016 to room 701 Bram fisher building, Cnr Nelson Mandela & Markgraff, Bloemfontein where assistance with the transcribing of comments or representations will be provided.
